The first edition of D-Marathon, the initiative developed by our HAVAC Division in partnership with NABA (the New Academy of Fine Arts), to promote design and creativity was held in Milan on 14, 15 and 16 June at NABA premises.
Mitsubishi Electric’s and Class 3B of Istituto Superiore Niccolò Macchiavelli’s participation in the sixth edition of the European project promoted by Fondazione Sodalitas at Milan’s Teatro Franco Parenti closed on May 7th in a morning session rich in content.

The second "Open Doors to School" initiative ended in June. The Factory Automation and Air Conditioning divisions involved a total of 280 students and 30 teachers.
During 2017 Mitsubishi Electric italian branch met more then 200 students from five local technical high schools with the purpose to approach technical education to business world, focusing on industrial automation and robotics areas.
The fourth Italian edition of the “DEPLOY YOUR TALENTS – Stepping up the STEM agenda for Europe” campaign achieved by Sodalitas Foundation together Mitsubishi Electric italian branch. It has involved 400 students from upper school institutes.

Last 3rd October, at our headquarters in Agrate Brianza, we hosted the inaugural lecture of the Higher Technical Institute I.T.S. Lombardo on ‘New Mechanical and Mechatronic Technologies’.
The Italian branch of Mitsubishi Electric Europe BV opened a new Demo & Training Room and the Italy Factory Automation Center at its headquarters in Agrate Brianza.
Our Training Center, established with the objective of becoming a conditioning training centre of excellence, is becoming ever more a reference point not only for industry professionals but for a wider and greater sphere of interest, including students and tomorrow’s future industry experts.
