Community support

A gift under the tree for the young guests of the Foundation “L’Albero della Vita ETS”

This Christmas, Mitsubishi Electric employees chose to fulfill the wishes of the young residents of the La Rondine community, gifting them special presents and moments of pure joy and serenity

Christmas is a time of joy and solidarity, but for those facing difficult circumstances, it can be hard to embrace its spirit. This year, with the help of our colleagues, we turned into Santa’s helpers to fulfill the wishes of the young residents at the La Rondine community, managed by the “Fondazione L’Albero della Vita ETS”, as expressed in their heartfelt letters.

La Rondine operates within a program aimed at supporting single mothers in need and their children, helping them regain stability and independence. The facility provides assistance to mother-child households that have endured complex family situations and poverty, offering them a stable place to stay in its Milan-based community, along with comprehensive educational support.

Our colleagues enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to fulfill the wishes of children aged 0 to 16, including those living in “La Rondine” and in “ZeroSei,” another community managed by the Foundation.

Through this company initiative, we thoughtfully selected and gifted toys, books, and clothing to all 44 children. Later, a small delegation of volunteers visited La Rondine, experiencing a meaningful moment of connection with the educators and staff of the Center.
