La Antena, a new area for social inclusion

Project: PUPI Onlus Foundation Italy

Founded in 2001 by Paula de la Fuente and Javier Zanetti, the PUPI Foundation's goals include the integration of young people - children and adolescents - belonging to the most vulnerable sections of society, providing them with a better quality of life.

Many successful projects have been developed over the last twenty years, including a new recreational and sports centre called ''La Antena'' for the development of leisure activities.

With the support of Mitsubishi Electric, once completed, the centre will have adequate space for the Foundation to develop new strategies for social inclusion and community participation.

So far, the organisation welcomes more than 600 people to its facilities on a daily basis.

Also, PUPI Onlus started many inclusion programmes in the municipality of Lanús, Argentina, in which more than 300 young people take part.

An ambitious project that will facilitate schooling and social integration of many young people. Good luck PUPI!
