Mind Trick: exploring the impact of addiction
On November 6th and 7th, the company’s employees had the opportunity to visit Mind Trick, an interactive awareness program that used simulations and specially designed games to help them experience the effects and consequences of addiction
Raising awareness about addiction is crucial for fostering a more informed and responsible society. Understanding the causes and consequences of addiction helps prevent risky behaviors and reduces the stigma associated with substance use disorders.
In line with our commitment to promoting the well-being of the communities we serve, Mitsubishi Electric has been collaborating for years with various organizations that run projects to raise awareness and support individuals dealing with this issue.
This year, we had the pleasure of working with ATS Monza and Brianza, CS&L Consortium, and colleagues from Nokia, DNV, and Bridgestone to offer our employees the opportunity to visit the "Mind Trick" exhibition. The event took place at the building that houses our headquarters on November 6th and 7th.
The exhibition is part of an interactive program on addiction developed within the WHP (Work Health Program) project, launched by the Lombardy Region to promote healthy lifestyles in companies.
During the tour, which was divided into seven thematic stages (drugs, alcohol, smoking, gambling, internet, nutrition, and misconceptions), visitors were able to experience, through simulations and specially designed games, the effects and consequences of addiction.
