Mitsubishi Electric alongside TOG for a more inclusive City of Milan

A new center for children and young people with severe neurological disorders officially opened: a large center at the cutting edge of technology to offer specialized care totally free of charge

Our company's Italian branch supports TOG Foundation in its rehabilitation programs with specific therapies provided to more than 100 children with brain damage and genetic syndromes

October 21, 2023, was an important date for Milan: in fact, thanks to the opening of the new headquarters of Fondazione TOG, a private center born from a philanthropic action that treats young patients with central nervous system lesions totally free of charge, it will be possible to count a large integrated pole (over 3,000 square meters) of cutting-edge technology to offer the best specialized care to children and young people with serious neurological diseases.

Each child in care is followed through an individualized rehabilitation pathway that is structured according to each individual's life needs. The neurocognitive rehabilitation offered to young patients with Central Nervous System injuries aims to stimulate their personality development, and to enhance their abilities, despite the complexity of the pathology.

A care ecosystem that includes individual treatment, attention to family, loved ones, daily living, and even school integration.

As the Italian branch, we are proud to have supported the TOG Foundation in achieving its goals, through the purchase of specific equipment needed for the rehabilitation interventions practiced daily in the center, particularly with an electric physiotherapy bed, useful for treating even older patients.

An activity that fits into our social responsibility plans looking at socially sustainable projects, creating a link between our company and the communities in which it operates.
