Mitsubishi Electric supports Milano Musica
The association's support for the 33rd Milan Music Festival “Restless Listening,” which will take place from April 23 to June 8, 2024, is renewed.
Music is an important tool of inclusion that unites listeners, erasing differences and creating a special connection with those who made it, those who play it, those who have heard it before us and those who will hear it in the future.
Therefore, keeping up with our commitment to fostering progress and promoting culture, we are proud to renew our support for Milano Musica, an association established with the aim of promoting and disseminating musical culture, particularly the very rich repertoire of 20th-century music.
Our company supports the 33rd Milano Musica Festival “Restless Listening,” which will run from April 23 to June 8, 2024, with more than 20 concert events of symphonic, chamber, electronic and video music, as well as figure theater.
The title of this edition refers to the perspective of promoting new ways of listening, stimulating openness and curiosity, through multiple paths.
The festival, which features seven world premieres and 11 Italian premieres, presents several not-to-be-missed events at various venues and theaters in Milan, including Teatro alla Scala, Milan Auditorium and Pirelli HangarBicocca. The full program is available at this link.
In this framework, Mitsubishi Electric also renews its commitment to prison institutions under the “Musica in Carcere” project, implemented by Milano Musica together with Fondazione Antonio Carlo Monzino ETS.
The initiative, supported by the company in the two-year period 2023-2024, provides for the creation of musical paths (concerts, lectures, workshops, etc.) and differentiated projects according to the needs expressed by the prison institutes involved, providing support to young people in a situation of serious fragility, along with functional paths of rehabilitation and social inclusion of adult prisoners.
