Mitsubishi Electric is close to Emilia-Romagna, and has been active since the beginning of this tragedy in collecting basic necessities as well as materials for cleaning the streets and making them safe
After the devastating earthquake that struck Emilia-Romagna in 2012, no one would have thought that we would have to deal with another terrible emergency in these areas. The images and numbers of this catastrophe are there for all to see, and although several weeks have passed, there are still many people displaced and the roads invaded by water and mud.
Mitsubishi Electric has been very supportive in this emergency, making donations to the City of Forli and the Ravenna Cuore e Territorio association, which immediately set up museums in the area with basic necessities to accommodate the evacuees and later took to the streets to drain and clean up the city.
Mitsubishi Electric has responded with a donation and through the collection of materials needed to clean houses and streets, providing a supportive contribution to the population that has taken action to make them safe as soon as possible. Therefore, we organized a food, beverage, clothing, cleaning supplies and first-aid kits collection at the Vimercate office, which was shipped to the locations indicated by the Association Cuore e Territorio.
