Mitsubishi Electric supports CLAP in helping children and boys with developmental difficulties in education or learning, giving them autonomy in the performance of daily activities through always up-to-date technologies, including the new app.

An App for children and boys from CLAP

Since 2013, CLAP is a center specialized in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) rehabilitation programs, supporting children, young people and their families. CLAP is active in the research and development of scientifically validated technologies and has developed a new app to help children to manage the simplest daily routine, reminding them of every single action, until the achievement of autonomy.

It is possible to insert in the app over 100 tasks among which, for example, brush your teeth, prepare your backpack, go to school.

The application comes into action as training and a tool to support the acquisition of autonomy and the experimentation of the sense of self-efficacy. It offers children and young people who use it the possibility to manage daily actions by giving them immediate and contingent feedback on each of them.

A project born from the will to try to build a better future for all the children and boys who will one day be the men and women of our society, with a view to true inclusion, facilitated by the increase in skills and autonomy.

A simple instrument, studied for the real needs of families that can really make parents feel more supported and less alone in their home.
