We build the future together with Fondazione A18
Mitsubishi Electric will be alongside Fondazione A18 for the construction project of a new Rehabilitation Center in Sardegna, designed so that people with autism can perceive it as a safe and protected family environment, surrounded by greenery
It will be a special Rehabilitation Center that Fondazione A18, a non-profit organization specialized in projects and courses dedicated to people with autism spectrum disorders and their integration into the working world, is planning in Selargius (Cagliari) and can also count on the support of Mitsubishi Electric
There will be more than 1,200 square meters that will host on a single floor the new structure of Fondazione A18, an association born in 2020 with the objective of dedicating time and resources to the problems of adults with autism spectrum disorders and with which Mitsubishi Electric has decided of collaborating, continuing in its path of support for this important social issue.
In San Lussorio-Selargius (Cagliari), in fact, the new Rehabilitation Center will arise, which will host a residential and a daytime module, counseling activities, parental training, training courses, seminars and business simulation activities for protected job categories placements. All on a single floor, with communicating macro areas, clearly identifiable and visible, with openings and glass walls. Great attention will be given to the creation of green areas fully accessible to users through protected pedestrian paths, thus creating an immersive natural environment. It will also be a "Nearly Zero Impact Building": accurate design choices combined with the use of renewable energy will in fact allow the building to have almost zero impact on the environment throughout its life cycle.
