On the occasion of the Milan Marathon 2018, which is held in Milan on Sunday the 8th of April, we have decided to run the streets of Milan together with Dianova Onlus, acquiring three batons to support their great project "And after us... A bridge towards autonomy!"

For Dianova, the Milan Marathon is an event of great value which, in addition to combining sport with solidarity, offers the opportunity to so many youngsters with drug and alcohol dependency problems and youth at risk, to run together with others, neutralising all differences.

And after us...A bridge towards autonomy! Is the whole group of projects aimed at achieving the full autonomy of people with dependency problems originating from the 5 Dianova therapeutic communities. These include:

A home for growing up together: A project which seeks to launch a new welcoming space through the management of an apartment where youngsters will be guided along a path towards full autonomy in a protected context, always under the care of the team.

A garden for cultivating passion: A project for creating a garden, also for people with disabilities. A new project of educational/instructive significance and for integration with the territory.

Diversity for creating value: A project of cultural mediation/integration which aims at establishing workshops on multi-culturalism and on legality, and to build a network over the area to favour paths towards integration.

Training to increase passion: A project aimed at creating workshops and educational activities with regard to sought after professions in the work place (bakers, pizza chefs, confectioners and gardeners...).

Land for gathering capabilities: A project which will offer the possibility to persons with addictions, to take part in apprenticeships and careers in the agricultural sector.

A light to illuminate the future: A project which will allow for reducing the cost of electricity in the "La Villa" apartment groups for minors at Palombara Sabina (RM); within 3 years of its installation, the unit will give out free energy, a saving which will be invested in functional activities for the personal development of our youngsters.

A re-structuring to achieve independence: A project aimed at creating a semi-protected structure capable of answering all those needs which characterize the social reinsertion phase of persons with addictions: From looking for a home and work, up to the rebuilding of family and social relationships.
