Training meets technology
The Italian branch of Mitsubishi Electric Europe BV opened a new Demo & Training Room and the Italy Factory Automation Center at its headquarters in Agrate Brianza.
At SPS IPC Drives, the leading automation industry trade fair, Mitsubishi Electric presented a number of state-of-the-art technological innovations designed to improve the productivity, efficiency and performance of industrial systems in all sectors. Immediately afterwards, within its Factory Automation Division, the Italian branch of Mitsubishi Electric Europe BV opened a new Demo & Training Room and the Italy Factory Automation Center at its headquarters in Agrate Brianza.
The Demo & Training Room is a 300-square-metre space created to provide customers, schools and general visitors with an overview of advanced and fully integrated solutions for industrial, process and numerical control automation. The space has thematic areas and demonstrates applications for the main vertical reference markets, highlighting the high performance of Mitsubishi Electric solutions. In addition, the space offers a comprehensive training programme with cutting-edge technical content and professional instructors highly experienced in the field of automation.
The Italy Factory Automation Center represents, on the other hand, recognition of the high technical competence accumulated by the Italian Branch. “This new space will enable us to showcase our latest technologies to the world of production, so that a large number of visitors every year can actually touch our activities with their own hands”, announced Hitoshi Namba, General Manager Overseas Marketing Section Factory Automation. “This achievement will help our customers and partners improve their production facilities and, at the same time, help new generations of technicians and engineers to fully understand our technologies. With the establishment of the Factory Automation Center in Italy, we will be able to respond even faster to every technical or post-sales request, thus guaranteeing the greatest possible satisfaction to all our commercial, technical, school and university partners.”
