Dedicated to man's relationship with time, 'La Forma del Tempo' showcases the iconography of time measuring technology progress, through the angles of observation of science, literature and art.
The exhibition “La Forma del Tempo” dedicated to man's relationship with time, from antiquity to modern age, opened on May 13, 2021 at the Poldi Pezzoli Museum in Milan and will continue until September 29.
A journey divided into three sections: the first section is dedicated to the main stages of the technological evolution of time measuring instruments, the second to the personification of Time while, in the third section, there is a large painting by the Sienese Bernardino Mei together with a series of twelve seventeenth-century night clocks with dials painted with allegories of Time.
An exhibition rich of different materials, also very fragile, that need the right temperature to preserve their integrity. Mitsubishi Electric systems can guarantee that. Our company has chosen to be a technical sponsor of this exhibition, thanks to the values that reflect our centennial history, which since 1921 continues to create a long list of revolutionary innovations and technologies, able to shape countless business sectors around the world in order to improve people's life quality.
