A gesture of care for mothers in need with Fondazione l’Albero della Vita
Mitsubishi Electric renews its support for Fondazione l’Albero della Vita ETS thanks to the contribution of its employees, who enthusiastically took part in a food collection to help mothers in need.

In Italy, thousands of children still live in difficult conditions, deprived of the opportunities and security every child should have. Behind each number are stories of fragility, interrupted dreams, and unexpressed potential often due to poverty, social exclusion, or challenging family situations.
Fondazione l’Albero della Vita ETS is a non-profit organization active in Italy since 1997. It is committed to protecting and promoting the rights of children, families, and people in need. Its mission is to fight child poverty, prevent social hardship, and promote inclusion by offering real opportunities for growth, education, and well-being to those in vulnerable situations.
After delivering gifts to the children hosted by the Foundation last Christmas, this year we decided to renew our support by involving employees in collecting food items to prepare donation packages for the mothers living in the “La Rondine” autonomous housing program. This facility supports mother–child families facing economic hardship and housing problems, while also providing full educational assistance to foster integration and social reintegration.
Once again, our colleagues embraced the initiative with great enthusiasm, collecting pasta, rice, beans, tuna, oil, and other non-perishable food items. They also added a personal touch: each of the 30 or so packages included a recipe written by them, simple and made with a few ingredients, including those found in the parcel.
This participation has once again shown that our commitment to improving people’s quality of life and promoting the values of respect, inclusion, and solidarity is a shared responsibility among all our employees - to whom we extend our sincere thanks.
