A piano that brings people together: Mitsubishi Electric supports the Rina Sala Gallo Association

From October 24 to 26, the Association will host the festival “A Piano for the City” in Monza, bringing classical music to inspiring locations and giving people the chance to experience this art form up close.

Classical music can create beauty and bring people together without words. It naturally encourages listening, empathy, and reflection, offering a moment to pause from everyday life and feel part of a larger community.

At Mitsubishi Electric, we believe that supporting classical music helps promote dialogue and understanding, building bridges between people.

That’s why we are proud to continue our partnership with the Rina Sala Gallo Musical Association, which will host the 2025 edition of “A Piano for the City” in Monza from October 24 to 26.

This year’s festival, called “Impronte Sonore (Sound Footprints)” brings great music to some of the city’s most inspiring spots, combining artistic, social, and cultural experiences.

The stars of 'Sound Imprints' are young musicians of extraordinary talent, already recognized internationally. On the evening of October 24, the Trio Hèrmes, winner of the 'Ensemble of the Year' award from Le Dimore del Quartetto, will perform at the Church of San Maurizio.

The matinée on October 25 will feature the talented pianist Martina Consonni and Franco-Italian violinist Sarah Jégou-Sageman. In the evening, violinist Francesca Bonaita and pianist Mariia Matsiievska will take the stage.

The festival will conclude with a concert by the Orchestra Canova, made up of young musicians under 35, at the Teatro Manzoni, featuring Konstantin Emelyanov (born 1994), winner of the 2024 Rina Sala Gallo International Piano Competition.

But the music of “A Piano for the City” doesn’t stop at the main stages: it also reaches places where it can bring comfort and create real connections. At Paese Ritrovato in Monza, a village dedicated to the care of people with Alzheimer’s, a special concert will offer a moment of meeting and dialogue between generations, once again highlighting the strong social mission of the Association.
