A simple gesture that becomes extraordinary: Mitsubishi Electric’s support to LILT for Christmas 2025
On the occasion of Christmas, Mitsubishi Electric employees join LILT volunteers at the Christmas corner set up by the association in the building to raise funds in support of the Child Care project.
Christmas has always been a special time - a season of sharing, kindness, and gestures that warm the heart. At Mitsubishi Electric, we believe the true meaning of the holidays lies in caring for others, offering hope, and showing solidarity to those who need it most. With this spirit in mind, we are once again renewing our support for LILT – the Italian League for the Fight Against Cancer.
For over a century, LILT has been a trusted leader in cancer prevention, early diagnosis, patient care, and support for scientific research. Every day, the association works to promote a culture of prevention through awareness campaigns, school programs, and initiatives aimed at people of all ages. LILT also provides essential support to patients and their families, offering transportation services, psychological counseling, and practical assistance throughout the treatment journey.
We chose to take part in LILT’s “Christmas in Solidarity 2025” initiative because we believe that even the smallest gesture - like a Christmas gift - can become a meaningful act of support.
On Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 November, several of our colleagues volunteered at the Christmas corner that LILT set up in the common areas of the Campus Energy Park, where visitors could purchase charity Christmas gifts. The initiative was met with great enthusiasm and helped raise over €4,600 for the association.
The funds collected will support the Child Care project, enabling recreational activities within the Pediatric Oncology Department of the National Cancer Institute, providing emotional and practical support during treatment, ensuring a 24/7 oncology emergency hotline, offering specialized dental care, and providing accommodation in the “LILT Houses of the Heart” for families who must travel for medical care.
