The second "Open Doors to School" initiative ended in June. The Factory Automation and Air Conditioning divisions involved a total of 280 students and 30 teachers.

We draw high school students towards robotics
During 2017 Mitsubishi Electric italian branch met more then 200 students from five local technical high schools with the purpose to approach technical education to business world, focusing on industrial automation and robotics areas.
We re-launch the studies into the STEM disciplines and overcome gender stereotypes with Solidas
The fourth Italian edition of the “DEPLOY YOUR TALENTS – Stepping up the STEM agenda for Europe” campaign achieved by Sodalitas Foundation together Mitsubishi Electric italian branch. It has involved 400 students from upper school institutes.
"Doing Science" at the Lissone Comprehensive school
In order to progress our commitment to research and education, on the 19th of January we were present at the Lissone I Comprehensive school (MB) for the presentation of the prizes of the "Doing Science" project

ANIPLA - Italian National Association for Automation
The branch opens its doors to the university world, participating in the series of meetings promoted by ANIPLA with the aim of encouraging the exchange and dialogue between companies and students.
Mentor ME
Ideated by the Italian Branch of Mitsubishi Electric, the Mentor ME platform, completely cost-free, provides innovative technical institutes students with e-learning and smartworking paths to orient themselves, acquire skills to carry out operational tasks and obtain an official certificate of PCTO in the company. In particular, Mentor ME was created with the aim of providing young people with a tool for training and orientation in the fields of Industrial Automation and Air Conditioning.

Training has always been a fundamental element in which the entire Mitsubishi Electric group firmly believes, the best way to acquire practical and theoretical knowledge and to develop those professional skills that will allow future technicians to succeed in the working environment.
