CSR Program

Our tangible commitment to a sustainable future

"Contributing to the creation of a better, more sustainable society through continuous technological innovation and ceaseless creativity" is not just Mitsubishi Electric’s mission, it’s the driving force behind everything we do.

Since the very foundation of our company, Corporate Social Responsibility has been an integral part of our identity. We act with respect for people, the environment, and institutions, shaping our business activities to create a lasting positive impact.

Our Group is deeply committed to putting ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles into practice, both within and beyond our organization, with an unwavering focus on sustainability and collective wellbeing. Our efforts are centered around five key areas:

  • Carbon neutrality: cutting emissions and taking concrete action against climate change.
  • Circular economy: promoting the efficient and responsible use of resources.
  • Safety: strengthening resilience and enhancing risk response capabilities.
  • Inclusion: championing respect and equal opportunities for all.
  • Wellbeing: fostering quality of life, with particular attention to physical and mental health.

Our corporate social responsibility program stems from these core values and is inspired by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We support initiatives that safeguard cultural and artistic heritage, promote education in STEM disciplines, and fight plastic pollution, with a special focus on environmental protection.

At the same time, we actively engage in socially impactful projects, including supporting children and adults with disabilities and assisting in rehabilitation journeys.

For us, sustainability is a vision that calls for daily responsibility and action. A goal we pursue together, both as a company and as responsible citizens, because every conscious gesture, no matter how small, can make a difference. This is our commitment to a better future: our "Changes for the Better".
