Mitsubishi Electric renews its support for the Plastic Free association, collecting 250 kg of waste in the municipality of Cernusco sul Naviglio

For many, this may seem like a dream, but for the Plastic Free association, it’s a real vision carried forward with determination and passion. Their goal is to reduce the use of plastic (especially single-use plastic) by raising awareness among 1 billion people worldwide by 2030.
We at Mitsubishi Electric are proud to renew our support for the association this year as well, by participating in the CleanUp event held on Saturday, June 14, at Parco del Fontanone in Cernusco sul Naviglio (MI). On this occasion, 22 employees, family and friends, helped collect 250 kilograms of waste, showing our commitment to the environment and local community through real action.
This event is part of a long-standing partnership with the association, which includes both donations and active participation in specific initiatives, such as the clean-up held on Sunday, June 8 in Milan, during the national weekend for World Environment Day and World Oceans Day.
Our support is a concrete part of Mitsubishi Electric’s commitment to promoting greater environmental awareness and encouraging sustainable choices, which are essential to protect the ecosystem we live in. This commitment reflects our Environmental Sustainability Vision 2050 and grows stronger each year, thanks to the enthusiasm and active involvement of our colleagues, of whom we are deeply proud.
